Dyon “Mojo” Brooks is an actor, writer, producer, and stand-up comedian that will next be seen ina leading role for Tyler Perry’s SHE THE PEOPLE on Netflix, which is due out on May 22, 2025. As a comic, Brooks is nationally acclaimed and celebrated having toured with legends such as Mike Epps, Martin Lawrence, and Deon Cole to name a few. He recently wrapped his headlining nationwide “Unhand Me Now” Tour which sold out every single with multiple added shows in nearly every location. This tour also marks Brooks’ transition from fully sold-out club weekends into headlining theatres with sold out stops at Atlanta’s Center Stage, Memphis’s Minglewood Hall, and two sold-out Sunday night shows at Chicago’s historic Vic theatre. Additionally, Dyon can be seen on the most recent Season [21] of Nick Cannon’s WILD N OUT, having been hand selected by Cannon who is a fan of Brooks viral sketch comedy videos that can be found across his social media pages, which have amassed millions of views and over 28 million likes. A Chicago native, Brooks frequently collaborates with the Chicago Bears and contributed to amid-west Emmy win for his writing efforts across commercial and digital work the team continues to do with him. The Mike Epps hosted tour features acts such as Karlous Miller, Tony Roberts, and Kountry Wayne with Brooks in a prominent position within the line up. Following the conclusion of WE THEM ONES, Brooks will set out on his fourth headlining tour with stops at multiple different theatres across the nation. Plans on screen for 2025 include going out with a few different original ideas across film and television while continuing to expand his reach with auditions across both comedy and drama.

Mojo headlined the prestigious Netflix Is a Joke Festival this May with a fully sold out show at Los Angeles’s United Theatre. On the heels of that, he announced his 2026 “Outta Pocket” Theatre + Arena solo headline tour with stops including Wintrust Arena in Chicago, The Met Philadelphia, Boston’s Wilbur Theatre, and The Lyric in Baltimore, all of which sold out in <4 hours with shows being added in every single market he’s playing. With this tour, he enters the rarified air of <30 comedians that can sell out an arena (let alone two in one city) on their own. The demand, fandom, and passion for Brooks is palpable across not only the country, but internationally as he will be touring across London and the EU in Summer 2026 as well.

Mojo recently concluded his nationwide “I Know You F*ckin’ Lying” Tour which saw every single ticket sold out, moving over 100,000 tickets across 40 cities. This tour also marked major milestones such as selling out the historic Chicago Theatre, the Orpheum, and two shows at New York’s Town Hall to name a few. Currently, he’s wrapping up his co-headline “We Them Ones” Arena Tour with Mike Epps, playing to audiences of 10,000+ every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night across the country.
