Miami Es Un Chiste goes English, for the first time, the festival presents a full night of English-language stand-up. One simple but powerful idea: open the door to comedy in a new language, with world-class performers and special guests Milton Granadillo.

Headliners

Fabio Rabin is a Brazilian comedian, actor, and writer with a career spanning seventeen years. He has worked on TV shows in Brazil, including MTV Brazil, Comedy Central Brazil, CNN Brazil, HBO, and various local TV channels. Alongside his cast, he won two APCA awards in 2012 and 2013 for the best TV Comedy Show in Brazil.

Rabin has acted in six movies in Brazil, two of which he starred in. He also has a comedy special on Amazon Prime as a Stand-Up Comedian. In 2018, he received an award for the best Stand-Up Comedy show in Brazil.

Additionally, Rabin has worked as the voice actor in Brazil for the movie "Strays."

Francisco Ramos is a Venezuelan-born stand-up comedian and actor known for his high-energy storytelling and sharp cultural perspective. He was a Top 10 finalist on Last Comic Standing and has appeared on Shameless, Gentefied, and This Fool. He also voiced the monkey in the animated hit Rio and stars in the feature film The Unexpecteds, executive-produced by Kevin Smith, now streaming on Apple TV and Amazon Prime.

Beyond stand-up, Francisco is an accomplished writer and director. He sold, directed, and co-wrote the short film Zoo Animals to HBO, further showcasing his voice as a storyteller across platforms.

His previous stand-up special, Venezuela’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett, highlighted his ability to blend personal stories with sharp observations about culture, family, and identity.

His new stand-up special, Still Learning, will be released later this year, capturing his evolution as both a comedian and a man navigating relationships, growth, and the absurdity of adulthood.

His comedy special Detroit Player, produced by Matt Rife and Bassem Youssef, was hailed as one of the top specials, showcasing his ability to mix humor with heart. Co-creator and host of the LowKey Comedy show with Matt, the collaborators became famed during the pandemic—turning an illegal outdoor show to one of the top independent shows in the country. Carlos Hernández is a comedian, actor, and improviser born and raised in Miami, Florida, with Latin roots.

Carlos represents the new wave of Latino comedy in Miami: highly digital, deeply local, and with a direct style that connects in both English and Spanish.
